Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Manager to join our team in the Olympiapark Area, Munich. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of physical security, personnel safety, and asset protection across our facilities. You will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety and security for our employees, visitors, and company assets. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in corporate security, risk management, and emergency response planning.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of security technologies, industry best practices, and relevant legal/regulatory requirements. You will lead a dedicated security team, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure operational excellence. This position demands a strategic thinker capable of anticipating potential threats, mitigating risks, and responding effectively to security incidents. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including HR, IT, and Facilities Management, to integrate security measures seamlessly into our overall business operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security policies, procedures, and programs across all company facilities.
- Lead and manage a team of security personnel, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventative measures.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Develop and execute emergency response plans, incident management protocols, and business continuity strategies.
- Investigate security incidents, breaches, and violations, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international security regulations and corporate standards.
- Collaborate with external law enforcement, emergency services, and security vendors as required.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and management.
- Manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient allocation of resources.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar leadership role in a corporate environment (minimum 7 years).
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies.
- Demonstrable experience in risk assessment, incident management, and emergency response planning.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Valid security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are highly desirable.
