Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective volunteer recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding and training sessions for new volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.
  • Manage and maintain accurate volunteer records, including contact information, availability, skills, and hours contributed.
  • Create and manage volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all programs and events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all volunteer inquiries, providing support, guidance, and conflict resolution.
  • Organize and execute volunteer appreciation events, recognition programs, and ongoing communication initiatives.
  • Monitor volunteer performance and provide constructive feedback and support to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for program improvement and development based on volunteer feedback and organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures relating to volunteer involvement.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German and English proficiency highly desirable).
