Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our esteemed team in the bustling Banking District of Frankfurt am Main. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, resolving engineering-related issues and ensuring optimal site efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, material consumption, and quality control documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project coordination and communication.
  • Assist in the procurement and management of construction materials, equipment, and resources, ensuring their timely availability and proper use.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics, providing necessary clarifications and adjustments as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in civil construction.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of German building codes, regulations, and quality assurance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Professional engineering license or certification (e.g., VBI, BIngK).
  • Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, DGNB).
  • PMP or other project management certification.
