Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Full-Time Packaging Support team member to join our vibrant Cervejas de Moçambique (CDM) facility in Nampula, Nampula Province. This crucial role is at the heart of our production line, directly influencing the quality and efficiency of our renowned beverage products. As Packaging Support, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of presentation and are ready for distribution across Mozambique. Your daily responsibilities will involve active participation in various stages of the packaging process, from careful material handling and machine feeding to diligent quality checks and preparing final products for shipment. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to strict safety protocols, and the physical capability to perform tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, eager to learn new skills, capable of collaborative teamwork, and dedicated to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging machinery, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
  • Load raw materials, such as bottles, cans, and packaging labels, onto production lines.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products for quality defects, ensuring all packaged goods meet company standards.
  • Assist in the setup, changeover, and basic maintenance of packaging equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Accurately record production data, including quantities produced and any identified issues.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production flow and address operational challenges.
  • Prepare finished products for warehousing and distribution, including palletizing and wrapping.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks to ensure consistency and compliance.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese (verbal and written).
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all health and safety guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Familiarity with operating basic production machinery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
