Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications, ensuring rapid and reliable software deployments.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) including resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost management.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in production and non-production environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure, tools, and processes, identifying areas for automation and optimization.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical systems and ensure minimal downtime.
- Document existing and newly implemented systems, configurations, and procedures to maintain comprehensive knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Strong experience (3+ years) with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and GitOps principles.
- Familiarity with security best practices and tools (e.g., vulnerability scanning, secret management).
