Job Description
Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Information Security Officer to bolster our cybersecurity defenses and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our critical information assets. In this pivotal on-site role within the dynamic Frankfurt Airport Area, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing our comprehensive information security program. This includes conducting risk assessments, designing robust security architectures, and ensuring compliance with national and international regulations suchards (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, GDPR). Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular information security risk assessments and vulnerability management activities, identifying potential threats and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Monitor security systems and tools for incidents, respond to security breaches, and manage incident response plans effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, and internal security policies.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on information security matters to various business units and project teams.
- Oversee security awareness training programs for all employees, promoting a strong security culture.
- Manage and coordinate external security audits and internal security reviews.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and practices to enhance the organization's security posture.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Information Security Officer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Expertise in risk management methodologies and incident response procedures.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations, especially GDPR.
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with cloud security principles and practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with penetration testing and ethical hacking concepts.
- Experience in an airport or critical infrastructure environment.
