Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, wines, and beers.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is in working order.
- Adhere to all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate with the bar and wider team to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
- Assist in the development of new cocktail recipes and drink menus.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 18 months experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail recipes.
- Proven ability to create visually appealing and perfectly balanced cocktails.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Valid personal licence (or willingness to obtain one upon employment).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Advanced knowledge of mixology trends and techniques.
- Certifications in bartending or hospitality management.
- Experience in training junior bar staff.
