As a freelance Event Planner associated with Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end execution of various events. This includes everything from initial concept development and budget management to on-site coordination and post-event analysis. You will work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and desires, translating them into meticulously planned and flawlessly executed events. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to define event objectives, scope, and requirements for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop detailed event proposals, including timelines, budgets, venue selection, and vendor recommendations.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including catering, decor, entertainment, audio-visual, and transportation.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
- Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial updates to clients.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
- Stay updated with industry trends, event technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in event planning, with a portfolio showcasing both wedding and corporate events.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial tracking for events.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in event design and execution.
- Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for event sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
