Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing an exceptional first and last impression.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
  • Provide comprehensive information about the establishment's services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proactively identify guest needs and preferences to offer personalized service.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update relevant systems with feedback and interactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and visitors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in coordinating special requests, bookings, or arrangements for guests.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (Creole is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a keen desire to assist.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be eligible to work in Mauritius.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, F&B) is advantageous but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) or CRM software.
  • Ability to speak additional languages.
