Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational and recreational activities for children (0-12 years).
- Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children under care.
- Support children with daily routines, including meal times, snack times, hygiene practices, and rest periods.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Engage children in creative play, outdoor activities, storytelling, and other enriching experiences.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding children's daily activities and progress.
- Collaborate with lead educators and team members to develop and execute comprehensive childcare plans.
- Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the childcare environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as record-keeping and attendance tracking.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a professional or volunteer capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and understanding towards children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) for effective communication with children and parents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., 'Kinderpfleger*in' or similar).
- First Aid and CPR certification relevant to children.
- Experience with diverse cultural backgrounds and special needs children.
- Additional language skills (e.g., English, Turkish, Arabic) are a plus.
