Key Responsibilities
- Assist service users with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Support individuals with medication administration, adhering strictly to prescribed guidelines and recording procedures.
- Prepare and cook meals, assist with feeding, and manage dietary requirements as per individual care plans.
- Perform light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, tidy, and comfortable living environment.
- Facilitate and support service users in accessing community activities, appointments, and social engagements.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and engage in meaningful conversations to promote mental well-being.
- Accurately document all care provided, observations, and any changes in the service user's condition or needs.
- Adhere to all individual care plans, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Report any concerns or significant changes to senior staff or management promptly.
