Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage check-ins and check-outs.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using clinic software.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, and manage professional correspondence (email, postal).
  • Maintain and update patient records (electronic and paper) with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols (e.g., GDPR).
  • Process new patient registrations, verify insurance information, and handle co-pays or payment collections.
  • Liaise effectively with medical staff, nurses, and doctors to ensure smooth patient flow and operational efficiency.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and ensure the reception area is always tidy, welcoming, and organized.
  • Perform various basic administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
  • Provide general information about the clinic's services and procedures to patients.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (at least 1 year) as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and experience with medical scheduling systems.
