Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions accurately for experimental procedures.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses following established SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment and instruments (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers).
- Accurately record, organize, and manage experimental data and observations in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Assist senior researchers in troubleshooting experimental issues and equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, good laboratory practices (GLP), and company regulations.
- Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and consumables, initiating procurement requests as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper waste disposal.
- Collaborate effectively with senior scientists, chemists, and other team members on ongoing research projects.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the interpretation and preliminary presentation of experimental results.
