Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always ensuring dignity and respect.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, using appropriate aids and techniques.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring as instructed by care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying living areas, laundry, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities, fostering mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and accompanying clients to appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition or concerns to the care coordinator.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, care plans, and company policies.
