Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload luggage, freight, and mail onto and off aircraft, adhering to weight and balance guidelines.
- Operate various ground support equipment, including baggage tugs, belt loaders, and other necessary vehicles, following strict safety procedures.
- Transport baggage between aircraft, baggage claim areas, and cargo warehouses efficiently and securely.
- Sort and tag baggage according to flight numbers and destinations, ensuring accurate routing.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and aviation security procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, pilots, and other airport personnel to coordinate operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the ramp and in baggage handling areas.
- Assist with other ground operations tasks as required to ensure smooth service delivery.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs or 32 kg) frequently and for extended periods.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for shift work and maintaining operational schedules.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications
