Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, personalized beauty advice and product recommendations to customers.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and mini-consultations (e.g., makeovers, skincare routines).
  • Achieve and consistently exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all cosmetics and skincare products, ingredients, and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure the sales floor, product displays, and testers are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products.
  • Stay updated on current beauty trends, competitor products, and industry news through continuous learning.
  • Participate actively in training sessions and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in cosmetics or skincare sales, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and empathetic approach.

  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., Polish, Punjabi, Urdu) to cater to diverse clientele in Glasgow.
