Job Description

Career.zycto is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for an Entry-Level Forklift Driver to join our growing network of clients in the bustling Chapel Trail area of Pembroke Pines. This is a unique chance for highly motivated individuals with no prior forklift experience to receive comprehensive, on-the-job training and become a certified professional in a critical role. In this role, you will be an integral part of our clients’ warehouse operations, responsible for safely moving, stacking, and organizing materials and products. We understand that everyone starts somewhere, which is why we’re partnering with companies that invest in their employees from day one. You’ll gain hands-on experience with various types of forklifts (reach trucks, order pickers, sit-down forklifts, etc., depending on the client site), all while adhering to strict safety protocols and operational efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training on forklift operation and safety procedures.
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, order picker) to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance (e.g., battery checks) to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines, storage areas, or shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting, scanning, and recording movements of goods.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Ability to complete and pass forklift certification training provided by the employer.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even if not forklift specific).
