Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare network, serving individuals within the vibrant Hillington, Glasgow community. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including functional, cognitive, and environmental evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised, client-centred intervention plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications to enhance functional independence.
- Educate patients, families, and carers on conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for managing daily activities.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with professional and organisational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous professional development activities.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the occupational therapy department.
Required Skills
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy
- Demonstrable experience in conducting occupational therapy assessments and interventions
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
Preferred Qualifications
