Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client consultations to understand event objectives, vision, budget, and desired outcomes for both wedding and corporate clients.
- Develop creative and comprehensive event proposals, including themes, décor concepts, vendor recommendations, and detailed timelines.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation (catering, florists, entertainment, photographers, technical support), transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
- Create and meticulously manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Design detailed event layouts, seating plans, and production schedules.
- Oversee on-site event setup, coordination, and breakdown, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors.
- Ensure seamless execution of events, troubleshooting any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
- Cultivate strong relationships with local vendors, venues, and suppliers in the Mammee Bay/Ocho Rios area.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and preparing reports to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination for both weddings and corporate events.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.

- Extensive local network of high-quality vendors and venues in Saint Ann Parish and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, German) to cater to international clientele.
- Experience with destination event planning.
