Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated team in St. Ann’s Bay, St. Ann. This professional role is pivotal to the seamless operation of our warehouse and delivery functions, ensuring that goods move efficiently from storage to our customers. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of products, optimizing routes, coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Prepare accurate shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and manifests.
  • Oversee warehouse inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and manage space utilization.
  • Optimize routes and load plans for delivery vehicles to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel costs.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to resolve logistics issues.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems to track and manage orders, shipments, and inventory.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and report on performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics and supply chain framework.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role (minimum 3 years).
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Knowledge of local transportation networks and regulations in St. Ann, Jamaica.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
