  • Assist with the safe administration of medication, strictly adhering to care plans and company policies (training provided if necessary).
  • Maintain accurate and detailed care records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and reflects the care provided.
  • Support residents with repositioning to prevent pressure sores, ensuring their comfort throughout the night.
  • Undertake light domestic duties relevant to resident care areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, ensuring residents feel secure and valued.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and CQC standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to care for others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good observational and reporting skills.

  • Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, particularly in a night shift capacity or a residential care setting.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Up-to-date Moving & Handling training.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate with enhanced night shift allowance.
  • Comprehensive paid induction and ongoing professional development training.
  • Generous pension scheme.
