Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography for a diverse range of events including corporate functions, weddings, parties, and conferences.
- Undertake commercial photography assignments such as product shoots, lifestyle imagery, architectural photography, and branding campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and brand guidelines for each project.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, arranging necessary equipment, and developing shot lists.
- Manage lighting, composition, and camera settings to achieve optimal image quality and artistic impact.
- Perform professional post-production tasks, including culling, colour correction, retouching, and cropping, using industry-standard software.
- Ensure timely delivery of final, high-resolution images in various formats as specified by clients.
- Maintain and manage personal photography equipment, ensuring it is always in excellent working condition.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and client service at all times.
- Actively seek to expand your portfolio and adapt to evolving photographic trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional-grade camera equipment and accessories (DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting).
- Expertise in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-production editing.
- Strong understanding of photographic principles, including composition, lighting, and exposure.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- A compelling online portfolio showcasing a range of event and commercial photography work.
- Reliable transportation to various shoot locations across Montego Bay and potentially wider Jamaica.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
