Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to clients in their homes, adhering strictly to individual care plans.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, maintaining client dignity and privacy.
- Support with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Administer medication as prescribed and record accurately, following company policy and training.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, promoting healthy nutrition.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Perform light household tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Accurately complete and maintain daily records, care logs, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Participate in regular training, supervision, and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Promote client independence and choice, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.
