Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and tracking shipments, both incoming and outgoing, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including inventory, orders, and dispatch details.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, such as invoices, purchase orders, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipment statuses and any potential issues.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with stock checks, order picking, and packing as needed.
- Help to monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies, escalating issues to senior staff.
- Learn and apply company procedures for safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance in logistics.
- Utilize logistics software and tools for data entry, reporting, and operational planning.
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to logistics challenges and inefficiencies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance logistics knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- High School Certificate (SC/HSC or equivalent)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new processes and systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
