Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring smooth and efficient flow of goods from warehouse to delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
- Oversee the scheduling and routing of deliveries, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Track and trace shipments, providing updates to stakeholders and resolving any issues or delays.
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics service providers to secure favorable rates and terms.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation, warehousing, and customs regulations.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation (e.g., invoices, shipping labels, customs forms).
- Analyze logistical data and identify areas for improvement in service delivery and cost reduction.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and training to enhance performance and productivity.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role with warehouse and delivery focus
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
