Job Description
I&M Bank Rwanda Plc is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our facilities team as an Early Morning Cleaner for our Kicukiro branch office. This critical role ensures our workspace remains pristine, hygienic, and welcoming for our employees and clients, especially as we prepare for the start of each business day. As an Early Morning Cleaner, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and sanitation that reflect our professional image. This part-time position requires an individual who is punctual, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to complete tasks efficiently before regular business hours commence. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of cleaning duties, ensuring all areas—from office spaces and meeting rooms to common areas and restrooms—are spotless and orderly. Adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment are paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of office areas, hallways, and common spaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the office.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure a streak-free finish.
- Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, door handles, and frequently touched areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchenettes/break areas, including sinks, countertops, and appliances.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damage observed to the facilities manager.
- Ensure proper storage and use of cleaning supplies and equipment, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Adhere to early morning schedule to ensure premises are ready before staff arrival.
- Follow established health and safety procedures and bank security protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (light to moderate), and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in office or commercial cleaning.
