In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless connectivity, impenetrable security, and optimal performance of our clients’ critical network systems. You will be the architect and guardian of digital pathways, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions that underpin successful business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage network security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network efficiency.
  • Ensure network uptime, reliability, and security by adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary security measures.
  • Provide expert-level technical support for network-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, project managers, and external vendors to deliver network projects on time and within budget.
  • Evaluate new network technologies and solutions, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for network systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, QoS).
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • In-depth knowledge of network security principles, tools, and best practices (firewall management, VPNs, IDS/IPS, access control).
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex network troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+).
  • Experience with cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, Google Cloud Networking).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for network automation.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and implementation.
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
