Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
- Configure, deploy, and manage network security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network efficiency.
- Ensure network uptime, reliability, and security by adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary security measures.
- Provide expert-level technical support for network-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, project managers, and external vendors to deliver network projects on time and within budget.
- Evaluate new network technologies and solutions, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for network systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, QoS).
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, tools, and best practices (firewall management, VPNs, IDS/IPS, access control).
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex network troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, Google Cloud Networking).
