Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly creative, organized, and experienced freelance Event Planner specializing in both enchanting weddings and impactful corporate events. You will be responsible for end-to-end event management, including initial client consultations, proposal development, budget creation and adherence, vendor sourcing and negotiation, timeline management, and on-site coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to understand their vision, objectives, and budget for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop detailed event proposals, concept designs, mood boards, and comprehensive timelines.
- Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage a diverse range of vendors including venues, caterers, decorators, entertainment, photographers, and transportation services.
- Create and manage critical event timelines and schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, from setup to breakdown, ensuring seamless execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the planning process.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or challenges that may arise during event planning or execution.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, including client feedback and vendor performance reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in event planning.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in event planning, specifically with both wedding and corporate events.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing successful event execution.
- Exceptional client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight for events.
- Advanced organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Proficient in event management software (e.g., Aisle Planner, Planning Pod) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
