Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage proactive and preventative maintenance programs for all critical machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, predict failures, and optimize maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure efficient scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Manage spare parts inventory, procure necessary components, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, recommending upgrades and modifications to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards during maintenance operations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations (e.g., VDE, DGUV).
- Prior experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
