Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters with various tasks on construction sites.
- Learn and apply proper safety procedures and protocols.
- Help prepare job sites, including clearing debris and setting up tools and materials.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials under supervision.
- Hold and position materials for cutting, fitting, and installation.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Transport materials and tools around the job site as needed.
- Perform basic demolition work as directed.
- Support the team in ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
