Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior staff in coordinating daily care activities and patient flow.
- Provide direct, person-centred care to patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Support and mentor junior Healthcare Assistants, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor patient conditions and accurately report observations to registered nurses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
- Participate in care planning and documentation, maintaining accurate patient records.
- Act as a point of contact for patient and family inquiries, escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist with training and induction of new HCA staff.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised healthcare environment.
