Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual and project-specific budgets.
  • Perform complex accounts reconciliation for various general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and variances in financial records promptly.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in cash flow management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to provide budgetary guidance and support.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a finance role with a strong focus on budgeting and accounts reconciliation.
  • Proven proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Part-qualification or full qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
