Job Description
This role calls for a highly skilled and creative freelance photographer to capture the essence of various events and commercial projects across Washington Gardens, Kingston. As a Photographer – Events & Commercial, you will be instrumental in producing high-quality visual content that tells compelling stories, promotes brands, and immortalizes significant moments. Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography for a diverse range of events (e.g., corporate functions, social gatherings, product launches) and commercial projects (e.g., advertising, lifestyle, product, architectural).
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand briefs, define creative direction, and ensure deliverables meet objectives.
- Plan and coordinate photo shoots, including location scouting, equipment preparation, and scheduling.
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and accessories effectively to capture superior images.
- Conduct comprehensive post-production, including culling, color correction, retouching, and final image optimization using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Manage and organize digital assets efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of final images in required formats.
- Maintain and update personal photography equipment, ensuring it is always in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints while delivering exceptional results.
- Provide a positive and professional experience for clients during shoots.
- Continuously develop photographic skills and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven professional experience in event and commercial photography.
- Expert proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems and various lenses.
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio) and ability to use strobes and modifiers.
- Advanced skills in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
