As a Youth Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the daily lives of the young people under our care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and support to young people in a residential setting.
- Assist young people with daily routines, including personal care, meal times, and bedtime.
- Organise and facilitate engaging recreational, educational, and social activities.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting healthy social interactions and conflict resolution.
- Support young people in developing independent living skills (e.g., cooking, cleaning, budgeting).
- Maintain accurate records and incident reports in line with organisational policies.
- Administer medication as required, following strict protocols and training.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals (e.g., social workers, teachers).
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all young people, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision as required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Full UK driving license.
