Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records using the company’s inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and perform reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
- Ensure all goods are stored safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified), safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct items and quantities are picked and packed.
- Report damaged goods, stock shortages, or any inventory anomalies to management promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehousing and inventory processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
