Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon their arrival, ensuring a pleasant first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor dining tables to ensure guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or additional needs.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash or credit card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other service personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and wine list offerings.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the restaurant.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waitress or in a similar hospitality role (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
