Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and informative tours for individuals and groups across various locations in Jamaica.
- Share in-depth knowledge of Jamaican history, culture, geography, flora, fauna, and local points of interest, particularly within St. Andrew.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all tour participants throughout the journey, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Manage tour logistics efficiently, including adherence to timings, routes, and designated meeting points.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Adapt tour content and pace to suit the diverse interests, ages, and physical abilities of guests.
- Promote local businesses, crafts, and cuisine responsibly and authentically.
- Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor at all times, representing the best of Jamaican hospitality.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written) for clear and engaging communication.
- Profound knowledge of Jamaican history, culture, geography, and attractions, especially within St. Andrew.
