Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and media according to established protocols and precise specifications.
- Perform routine laboratory experiments and tests under the guidance of senior scientists and technicians.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and organized records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
- Process and analyze data, contributing to the interpretation of experimental outcomes.
- Participate in general lab upkeep, including cleaning and sterilization of glassware and work areas.
Required Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Fundamental knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
