As an Airport Security Officer specialising in Access Control & Screening, you will be on the front line of defence, ensuring compliance with strict aviation security regulations. Your daily actions will directly contribute to the secure and efficient flow of people and goods through the airport. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security checks of passengers, baggage, and cargo using X-ray machines, body scanners, and other screening equipment.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying identities and authorisations for all personnel and vehicles.
- Perform patrols of the airport premises, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities, breaches, or security risks.
- Respond effectively to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and complete detailed reports of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
- Provide clear and concise instructions and information to passengers and staff regarding security procedures.
- Operate CCTV and other surveillance systems to monitor activity and detect potential threats.
- Conduct personal searches and screenings in a professional and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with emergency services, airport management, and other security personnel as required.

Preferred Qualifications
