Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in security, reliability, and performance across all environments.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support critical systems (if applicable).

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
  • Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience in a regulated industry or with security compliance standards.
