As a freelance photographer with Career.zycto, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, and delivering stunning photographs that consistently meet or exceed client expectations. Your assignments will be varied and exciting, involving comprehensive coverage of a wide array of events such as high-profile conferences, engaging workshops, memorable graduations, impactful product launches, and sophisticated social gatherings. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, creative briefs, and desired photographic styles for events and commercial shoots.
- Plan and execute photography sessions, including scouting locations, setting up lighting, and directing subjects as necessary.
- Capture high-quality, professional photographs at various on-site locations, including indoor and outdoor settings, ensuring optimal technical and artistic results.
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lenses, and lighting accessories effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform extensive post-production work, including culling, editing, retouching, and color grading images using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure all deliverables meet client specifications, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
- Manage and organize photographic files efficiently, including backups and archiving.
- Maintain and care for personal photography equipment, ensuring it is always in excellent working condition.
- Provide exceptional client service, maintaining clear communication and professionalism throughout each project.
- Invoice promptly and accurately for services rendered, adhering to agreed-upon payment terms.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in event and commercial photography.
- Expert proficiency with professional DSLR or mirrorless camera systems, various lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Advanced skills in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of photographic principles including composition, lighting, exposure, and color theory.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of event and commercial photography work.
