You will be responsible for developing comprehensive design concepts, including detailed space plans, furniture layouts, material selections, and lighting schemes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts, including detailed space plans and furniture layouts.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand project requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D renderings, technical drawings, and presentations using industry-standard software.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories, maintaining an updated material library.
- Manage projects from initial concept development through to final installation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, suppliers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address design queries, and ensure quality control.
- Research and stay informed about current design trends, innovations, and sustainable practices.
- Prepare accurate documentation, specifications, and schedules for procurement and construction.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and regulations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar interior design software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in space planning, conceptual design, and aesthetic execution.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, material science, and construction methods.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
