Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal documentation and processes accordingly to ensure continuous adherence.
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and reviews to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for management review, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and progress.
  • Support the design and delivery of compliance training programs for employees across various departments.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential compliance records, documentation, and databases.
  • Respond to compliance inquiries from internal departments, providing clear and accurate guidance.
  • Identify and assess potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments (e.g., Legal, HR, Operations) to ensure cross-functional compliance alignment.
  • Manage compliance calendars, deadlines, and submission requirements for various regulatory bodies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in a compliance, administrative support, or regulatory role.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and general compliance best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret regulations and identify solutions.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professional ethics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP – Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) or a related discipline.
  • Experience with compliance management software or CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations relevant to business services, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), or financial regulations.
