Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against delivery notes.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch to retail stores.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and stock reconciliations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count stock.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack (certification preferred but not essential).
- A valid driver's license.
