Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and charismatic Concierge to join a prestigious team providing exceptional hotel and apartment assistance in the vibrant Brislington area of Bristol. This pivotal role is perfect for an individual who thrives on delivering unparalleled guest experiences, anticipating needs, and acting as the ultimate local ambassador. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for guests and residents, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring their stay is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Your day will be dynamic and varied, ranging from managing requests and making recommendations to coordinating services and handling reservations with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and residents warmly, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
  • Handle a wide range of guest requests efficiently, including transportation, dining, entertainment, and local activity bookings.
  • Provide accurate and insightful information about local attractions, events, services, and amenities.
  • Manage reservations for hotel facilities, tours, and external services.
  • Coordinate luggage handling, deliveries, and special requests with other departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local area information, and current events.
  • Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures for apartment residents, if applicable.
  • Ensure the concierge desk and lobby area are tidy, welcoming, and presentable at all times.
  • Build rapport with guests to anticipate needs and offer personalized recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a concierge or front-of-house role within hospitality.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Bristol and its local attractions, dining, and transport links.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
  • A hospitality-related degree or certification.
  • Experience with luxury hotel or serviced apartment environments.
  • Valid UK driving license.
