Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment, are cleaned to the highest hygiene standards.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery efficiently, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, and glassware are spotless.
- Assist with the unloading and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring stock rotation and organisation.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials, reporting needs to management.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately, maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
- Empty bins regularly and ensure waste disposal areas are kept clean and organised.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, supporting team members as needed.
