Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and businesses within Chake Chake and the wider Pemba South region.
- Utilize various channels (online, phone calls, in-person visits, community events) to gather contact information and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
- Initiate engaging conversations with prospective clients to understand their needs and introduce them to Zantel's products and services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all lead generation activities and client interactions within our CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to schedule appointments for qualified leads and ensure a smooth handover process.
- Stay informed about Zantel's latest product offerings, promotions, and market trends to effectively communicate value to potential customers.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to developing effective lead generation strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent Zantel professionally at all times.
- Meet and exceed daily/weekly targets for lead identification and qualification.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and email.
