Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare hotel guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising bathrooms and living areas, to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Replenish guest room amenities, linens, and supplies according to hotel standards and guest requests.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, trolleys, and linen closets.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen when required.
- Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, responding to requests and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members and hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning.
