Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with non-dispensing administrative duties.
- Manage incoming and outgoing prescription requests, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Communicate with patients regarding prescription pickup, refills, and general inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Process and organize patient information, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality protocols (e.g., PHIPA).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient profiles and prescription records within the system.
- Prepare and process various forms and reports as required for prescription fulfillment and office operations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers' offices for prescription clarifications or renewals.
- Handle inventory management tasks related to prescription supplies, forms, and general office materials.
- Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Ensure the work environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
