Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote GSuite Admin Assistant to join our growing remote team. You will be responsible for managing user accounts, configuring services, troubleshooting common issues, and maintaining documentation, all while contributing to an efficient and productive remote work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units within Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Chat).
  • Provide first-line technical support for GSuite-related issues, including login problems, sharing permissions, email routing, and application functionality.
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring proper account setup, data transfer, and license management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for GSuite best practices, troubleshooting guides, and administrative procedures for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor GSuite usage, license allocations, and security logs to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departmental teams to implement new GSuite features, integrations, or security policies.
  • Support data migration efforts and ensure data integrity, retention, and accessibility within Google Drive and shared drives.
  • Conduct regular audits of user permissions and settings to maintain data security and privacy standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite) administration and user support.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly crucial in a remote work context.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues independently, efficiently, and with a customer-service oriented approach.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk) and documenting support solutions and FAQs.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a remote environment.
  • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles as they relate to cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Workspace Administrator certification or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
  • Previous experience in a remote administrative support, IT helpdesk, or GSuite-specific support role.
